In the rare event of an accident, our drivers and helpers are held responsible for the repair or replacement of damaged goods. As a professional entity with over 20 years of experience in Chicagoland, we also offer additional protection options for high-value items—please contact us during scheduling to discuss these specifics.

We offer professional assembly for an additional fee. Because we need to allocate the right tools and time, please notify us during scheduling if assembly is required. We specialize in complex setups, including IKEA, Wayfair, and West Elm products, ensuring your items are leveled and safety-tested before we leave

We arrive fully equipped with our own professional-grade dollies, straps, and furniture pads to ensure safe transport. Unlike generic gig-economy apps, John’s Delivery Service provides a uniformed, background-checked crew with two decades of local expertise in navigating Chicago’s residential and commercial spaces .

To account for Chicago traffic and site variables, we ask that customers allow a 2-hour window for our team to arrive and complete the delivery.

Standard deliveries utilize our efficient vans or pickup trucks. If an item exceeds 4 ft. wide or 8 ft. high, we may need to deploy a larger truck.  We ask that you measure all entrance doors and hallways in advance to ensure a smooth transition. At your request, we can also provide “contactless” delivery to your garage or curbside

We save you money by matching the equipment to the job. By utilizing vans and pickup trucks for smaller loads, we avoid the high overhead of large moving rigs. Whenever safe, we provide a single-man crew to keep your costs low while maintaining professional standards.

Yes. We have expanded our “blocks” of service to include full-property rubbish removal and “Labor-Only” assistance. If you have already rented a dumpster or a U-Haul, you can hire our professional muscle to load or unload it for you, ensuring every inch of space is used efficiently.

For major estate cleanouts or construction debris, we have the capability to pull up 10, 15, or 20-yard dumpsters directly to your location. This allows you to clear out your space at your own pace, with John’s Delivery Service managing the final haul-away.
